Thames Distribution’s story goes back to 2006 when life began as a UK distributor for GPS giants Garmin. Today their operations encompass the UK and Benelux, with centrally positioned warehouse facilities in both regions. Their branding no longer reflected the business and they wanted something that would match the exciting and innovative new products from the portfolio of established and emerging product vendors they work with.
In addition, a sister brand was required for their newly formed specialist marketing agency, Thames360, which benefits vendors by supporting them with strategic marketing, and our customers by assuring them that they’re buying into a solution – not just another product. Studio 18 delivered branding for both Thames Distribution and Thames360 with a Brand Identity Guidelines document that encompasses both so they’re applied consistently and are unmistakably related.
Once the branding was in place, we were tasked with designing a new website. We’re only too aware of bounce rates so we added some engaging content on the homepage in the form of a video from one of their vendors. Key services and vendors were also brought to the forefront with new copy we sourced from Mike at Deep to complete the rebrand. The end result is a bespoke website design that works across all devices with a content management system in WordPress.
